13 Days Tanzania Safari
13-day journey through the wild and diverse landscapes of Tanzania, where every moment promises an adventure of a lifetime.
Day 1. Arusha National Park (optional) Walking Safari, A great way to start your Safari experience! At the foot of Mount Meru lies Arusha National Park. This is a beautiful park, famous for its green surroundings, lakes, and passing other explorers going to and from Mt Meru, with many unique sights including black and white Colobus monkeys. A walking safari is a unique and thrilling experience the park and a chance to be up-close with wild animals – face to face – and something only possible in a few parks. Day 2. Tarangire National Park
This morning, your guide meets at your hotel for a 2hour drive to Tarangire National Park. A box lunch will be provided. On arrival, your safari experience begins! This national park is well known for vast herds of elephants and its diverse landscapes including the giant, enigmatic, Baobab trees. At the end of the day we continue to the Manyara region for overnight at (Optional Accommodations). You will be able to relax with drinks, served a hot dinner and of course have time for charging phones and cameras, ready for the next day of your adventure.
Day 3. Lake Manyara National Park (Optional) Walking, Bicycle and Culture tour, After breakfast, set off with your guide to Lake Manyara. You will be amazed by its diverse vegetation, ranging from savannah to marsh to evergreen forests, including panoramic views, waterfalls, babbling brooks with clear water and hot springs! A box lunch will again be provided to enjoy in the amazing surroundings. This park supports, amongst others, a large number of flamingos, giraffes, elephants and tree-climbing lions. We will join a game drive before continuing on in the Manyara region for overnight at (Optional Accommodations)
Day 4. Lake Eyasi (Hunting tour) After breakfast we set off for a very interesting day to visit members of the Hadzabe Tribe, located in the south side of Serengeti. The surroundings include the uniquely beautiful Lake Eyasi – also known as Salt Lake. The size of the lake varies significantly depending on the rains and supports a wide range of waterbirds including a huge breeding-season (June to November) populations of flamingos and pelicans. You will enjoy a walk around with the guide explaining the reality of tribal life today. You’ll experience how the Hadzas gather fruits and hunt daily for their food and have the opportunity to join on a hunting tour. Before we say good bye we share gifts, usually some sugar, maize, beans, corn flour, all helpful for their daily life, Then drive to Manyara region overnight at (Optional Accommodations)
Day 5. Ngorongoro Conservation Area & Crater, Meet your guide after breakfast for approximate 45min driving to Ngorongoro Conservation area. The views from above the crater are breathtaking but the real magic happens when you get down inside and drive among its incredible wildlife including, amongst others, rhinos, lions, giraffes, elephants, leopards and wonderful zebras running free amongst the wildebeests. It is the largest intact crater in the world with an estimated average of 30,000 large mammals. You will also enjoy an incredible bird watching experience while having lunch at the lake. With a nostalgic feeling at the end of this part of your adventure we continue to Serengeti and your overnight stay at (Optional Accommodations).
Day 6-7-8. Serengeti National Today starts with a hearty breakfast and then a drive into the Serengeti. Once there we will join the game drive through its endless plains of savannah, riverine forests and woodlands. You will not forget your first encounter with the Serengeti and the feeling of nature at its finest, a last remnant of unspoilt wilderness where animals wander about free. This Park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million wildebeests, 200,000 zebras and more. Overnight Serengeti at (Optional Accommodations). Our game drives will continue during Day 7 and Day 8 following the northern and southern circuits of Serengeti National Park.
Day 9. Lake Natron (Optional) Climbing Activities, After breakfast, meet your 20min driving to Lake Natron Activies then back to accommodation. Afternoon your guide leads you on a walking tour to Ngare-sero waterfall. The trail runs through a gorge and you will sometimes need to cross small streams. We recommend sandals or water shoes, to avoid constantly having to take your shoes on & off. Next, drive to the lakeshore where you get to capture its great scenery. Late evening enjoy dinner and meet our local climbing guide for trekking information and preparation.
Day 10. Ol Doinyo Lengai Volcano – Arusha (if you option Climbing only), Guide Information in the morning before starts the Hiking. Picnic breakfast & water bottles on the walk. Walking time around 12 hours Altitude up to 2,960m

Day 11. Napuru Waterfall (Optional) Zipline, Cycling & Quad Bike, After Breakfast at your Hotel we set off for Napuru Waterfalls are a hidden gem near Arusha city on the slopes of Mount Meru, the second tallest mountain in Tanzania. On the trip you go through local villages where you pass through maize, banana and coffee farms up to the picnic area where you will get an armed guard and a guide to hike down with to the falls. On some occasions you may spot the black and white colobus monkeys from Arusha National Park. The lush green vegetation and the cold clean air gives such a fulfilling feel as you walk down to the falls. The hike doesn’t require any special hiking gear but hiking boots would make it easier for you. This trip can be done throughout the year but it is during the dry months that is the best time to go as the path is not slippery, after a great day we will drive you to Arusha town for overnight at (Optional Accommodations)
Day 12. Hotspring (Kikuletwa, Rindugai) This morning, your guide meets at your hotel for a 2hour drive to Rundugai, An Oasis in the Backcountry; The Chemka Hot Springs are an oasis in the hinterland of the Kilimanjaro region, situated 40 kilometers from Moshi. At these idyllic underground springs with the crystal clear, turquoise water, you can enjoy the perfect rest after a strenuous Kilimanjaro climb or adventurous wilderness safari. But also for day-trippers, they are an ideal destination. Whether it’s the old, the young, the quiet or the active, the Chemka Hot Springs invite you to linger, swim and explore. The pond is very deep, in some places up to 10 meters, but the water is so clear that you can see the bottom well all the time. On the shore under lush trees you can camp, enjoy your snacks or soak up the sun, After a swimming day then we will drive you to Arusha town for overnight at (Optional Accommodations)
Day 13. Materuni Waterfall, After breakfast, set off with your guide to approximate 2.5hours to Materuni Nestled on the mountain slopes of Kilimanjaro lies the beautiful coffee village of Materuni. Produce your own cup of coffee from tree to cup. Receive first hand secrets of what makes a good cup of coffee from the local Chagga people. Only a small hike from the village lay the homonymous 80m high Materuni waterfalls. A relaxing swim in Kilimanjaro fletcher water grows the day.
This very impressive Waterfall is one of the tallest in the area, spewing crystal clear glacier water 70m into its basin. The beautiful path leading to Materuni Waterfall is located 2500m above sea level
It traverses through valleys and hills covered by tropical rainforest, past coffee, banana and avocado “shambas”, the Kiswahili word for farms. On clear day great views of Kibo and Moshi town can be seen. The hike to the base of the Waterfall can be demanding and hiking boots are recommended. As this trip is so close to Moshi town it is ideal for those people with limited time but who would still like to see some of the nature and beauty that this region of Tanzania has to offer.
